We offer several different classes in Needle Arts including Needlepoint, Counted Thread, Counted Canvas, Hardanger, Ornaments, Ornament Finishing and Whitework.

Ellen Chester of With My Needle will be in the shop for a special class on Sunday June 28th. She will teach a project called Call of the Sea.

Weekly Canvas Enhancement Classes

Wednesday - 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Thursday - 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

needlepoint classes

Needlepoint, Counted Thread, and Counted Canvas is taught by a favorite of ours, Margaret Bendig. Margaret is known to many of you who are guild members as she has done a great deal of teaching at many guilds.

Tuesday Morning & Evening Stitch Class

This is an open stitch class for any student needing help with canvas, counted thread or embroidery work. Bring in projects that you need help on or start a new one with the group. Fee for the class is $50.00 for 4 sessions or $15.00 for a single class.

Morning Classes 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Evening Classes 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

Saturday Class
This is also an open stitch class for any student needing help with canvas, counted thread or embroidery work. Fee for the class is $25 and class is from 9:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Angel hardanger

Hardanger Class (Norwegian form of Embroidery)

Thursdays 9:30am - 12 noon

Claudia Kilmit, a local teacher/designer, offers an open class each week. This is a multi-level class for beginning to advanced students. Each student is given individual attention based on their own needs. Cost $10.00 per session, payable at time of class.
